The Magnolia Hotel In Downtown Houston Is One Of Seven Joining Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide Inc.’S Tribute Portfolio Brand, According To Reports.
The 314-room hotel will be the first Tribute property in Texas when it joins the portfolio in January, the Houston Chronicle reports. Other hotels signing on with Tribute include Magnolia properties in St. Louis and Denver, as well as other properties in San Diego, California; Santa Fe, New Mexico; Singapore; and Bali, Singapore, according to reports.
Denver-based Stout Street Hospitality owns the Magnolia brand. Houston’s Magnolia Hotel opened in 2003 in the Ross S. Sterling Houston Post Dispatch Building at 1100 Texas Ave. and has ranked among Houston’s largest boutique hotels.
