Servers in the Magnolia’s restaurant will work the evening service periods from 2:00PM until close (11:00PM/1:00AM). We try to hire based on shift preference. The evening service period will include cocktail as well as food service. The Magnolia has a very popular and busy weekday happy hour. Evening Servers will also set out the Magnolia’s famous Milk & Cookies display nightly. The Magnolia has a very diverse guest mix of hotel guests, locals, wedding attendees, and downtown workers and residents. The Restaurant area was completely remodeled in 2018.
A Server needs to have previous serving experience in an upscale full service house; able to describe menu highlights such as craft beers, specialty cocktails, food entrees and shared plates; have experience with F&B point of sale systems; already possess or have the ability to receive TABC certification; and meet the physical requirements of the position.
