The Sales Coordinator “shepherds” the Hotel’s Sales Office by handling a lot of the admin duties as well as helps Sales Managers sell the Hotel.  There is lots of phone work, sending out contracts, managing the sales software, email replies, and scheduling assistance.  This position will interact considerably with the Front Desk, Food & Beverage, and Accounting departments.

Some duties and responsibilities of the Sales Coordinator include:

Work closely with the Hotel’s Director of Sales relative to department administration. Be a ninja at multi- tasking. Sell wedding receptions and service them.  Sell wedding room blocks along with bachelor and bachelorette room blocks.  Assist clients over the phone, through email correspondence or during site visits. Keep Food & Beverage up to date on banquet event order changes. Assist Sales Managers in the department as needed. Be a living “Google” of Hotel and local services especially as related to wedding services.

Some desired qualifications of the Sales Coordinator position include:

People who like helping people and being friendly no matter the work situation. Think fast, act quick, display grace under pressure. Able to learn and apply a variety of software programs related to sales and front office. Good communication skills in dealing with a broad spectrum of clients, managers and vendors.  The passion to sell and upsell.

This is a full time, hourly position at $16.50.
