The Housekeeping Director is responsible for the hotel’s comprehensive Housekeeping operations ensuring our cleanliness, productivity, service, and safety standards are achieved.  They foster their team of Supervisors, Room Attendants, Housepersons, Laundry Attendants, and Public Area Attendants, encouraging and tracking performance standards, divers community relations, and overall success of the department.

Along with staff management, the Housekeeping Director will be tasked with departmental administration such as supply inventories, budget performance and reporting, safety and standard training, performance reviews, vendor relations and invoicing, and bridge the Housekeeping Department with all other departments in the hotel as they relate.  Our number one responsibility is our guests, and we care for them by working together.

Minimum qualifications for the Housekeeping Director position including: Extensive Housekeeping management experience in an upscale hotel/resort property of 140 rooms minimum; applied knowledge of comprehensive Housekeeping and Laundry operations and procedures including linen and terry components and laundering methods;  effective written and oral skills scheduling and productivity experience; leadership ability to direct, supervise, and maintain high morale among staff.  Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus, but not a requirement.  

The Housekeeping Director position is classified as a salary exempt position.

Job Type: Full Time Salary Exempt
Pay: $55,000-$65,000
Primary Schedule: Flexible Based on Team Coverage- AM Required to Open House
