The Magnolia Hotel Denver, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel, is located in the heart of Denver’s vibrant downtown with 297 guest rooms, lobby, public space, and local favorite restaurant Harry’s.  Visit us at  The hotel hosts a variety of guests including staycationers, leisure travelers, business travelers, and groups, providing us the opportunity to warmly serve a wide array of people from all over the world.

The Front Desk Agent is at the center of service in the Hotel.  Our Agents are genuinely original, possesses instinctual service, and are urban insiders of their cities.  What we look for in a good Front Desk candidate is people who like helping people and being friendly no matter the work situation; can multi-task, think fast, act quick, display grace under pressure; has good communication ability, and enjoys having fun at work.

What you’ll do at the desk while working includes: make our guests feel warmly welcome and happy with the service; use the front desk systems to complete all the clerical functions of the position; be a living “Google” of Hotel and local services; support the other Hotel departments with their front desk needs and questions.

Minimum qualifications for the Front Desk Agent position including: meet the physical requirements of the position, i.e., long periods of standing, manual dexterity to operate a computer keyboard and mouse, and visual capacity to read a computer screen and count cash; English comprehension skills to speak, read, and write English; moderate experience and knowledge with Windows operating systems, Internet browsers, and the ability to learn many new systems that will be required to complete day-to-day tasks of the position.

Job Type: Full Time (30-40 hours/week)
Pay: From $15/hr based on experience
Primary Schedule: Open availability (up to 5 shifts), AM Shift 7AM-3:30pm; Mid Shift 11AM-7:30PM , PM Shift 3PM-11:30PM
