Business Travel Sales Manager
We are seeking a Business Travel Sales Manager to join our Sales Department and the Magnolia Family in downtown Dallas. Sales is the revenue catalyst for the Hotel. The Business Travel Sales Manager’s responsibilities include booking all negotiated corporate travel (group and individual), transient, IBT, government, SMERF, and any other defined category of booking, maximizing revenue, occupancy, and sourcing new business to book. Additionally, the BT Sales Manager will also ensure that all contracts and billings are processed accurately through the front office, accounting, and the client.
Previous sales experience (2 years minimum) in a hotel/resort setting is desired. Additionally, we are looking for applicants with strategic planning skills, booking process, prospecting, and following up on sales leads and strong understanding of sales contracts and experience in rate negotiations. Candidates should also have experience with sales management software and experience in writing and administering sales contracts.
