Roby’s, the Magnolia St. Louis lounge and restaurant reflects the historic charm of the Magnolia with modern design.  Roby’s does a brisk happy hour, and has a very diverse mix of patrons including hotel guests, locals and downtown residents and workers.

As a professional Bartender, you’ll know all about TIPS control, when to ID patrons, have a good knowledge of local craft beers, popular and classic cocktails, general mixology, and enjoy interacting with the guests, and how to have fun at work.

Bartenders in Roby’s must have previous bartending experience in a full-service upscale lounge/club. Broad knowledge, including brand knowledge, of liquors, spirits, beer and wine. Previous experience with restaurant or lounge point of sale systems. Willing to follow portion pour procedures for all beverages served.  Handle food orders as well as bar orders when necessary.  Handle beverage orders from Servers.

There are some minimum requirements to being a Bartender that include:

Have valid TIPS certification. Must be of legal age to pour, mix, and serve alcoholic beverages in Missouri. Physically able to change out 7.5 gallon beer kegs.
