The Room Attendant position is one of the most important positions in the Hotel. Their quality of work is key to the guest’s overall satisfaction. They usually work alone, but has the support of the Housekeeping department to assist them.
The Room Attendant cleans assigned section of guest rooms to Hotel standards and within allotted time; follows standards for hotel’s COVID-19 precautions and procedures, and with guest’s property when cleaning occupied rooms; follows the lost and found procedures in finding items left in guest rooms; reports maintenance problems in assigned rooms, hallways or with your equipment; and practices safe working procedures during your shift.
Desired qualities in Room Attendant candidates: able to meet physical qualifications of the job which include bending, twisting, lifting, pushing and long periods of standing; able to work as part of a team to assist others to complete housekeeping assignments; and able to understand and follow all safety related rules at all times.
Job Type: Full Time & Part Time
Pay: from $14.77/hr
Primary Schedule: Days Including Weekends 8AM-4:30PM (or until assigned rooms are clean and inspected)
