The Corporate Director of Revenue Management is based in the Stout Street Hospitality Corporate office located in the Magnolia Hotel Denver.   The position will direct a Revenue Manager and a team of Revenue Coordinators.

 

The Corporate Director of Revenue Management will oversee revenue management for all our properties. Develop, propose and implement the strategic revenue plan in conjunction with the Corporate Director of Sales, VP Operations, Hotel GMs & DOS.  Manage reports that evaluate bookings by property, and channel to ensure deviations from forecasted or normal patterns are recognized and appropriate actions taken if necessary.  Generate forecasts weekly and monthly for individual hotels in conjunction with each DOS and GM. Manages, develops and assists all Revenue Management Office personnel. Collaborates on the tactical elements of the strategic plan via weekly RevMax meetings. Analyze comp set data such as occupancy, room rates, market segment performance and RevPAR. Assist in the annual rooms revenue budgeting process.  Create, compile data, and distribute revenue management based reports as required or directed.

 

Desired Qualifications for the Revenue Manager

Ability to understand and manipulate the dynamics of revenue optimization techniques via inventory and pricing changes in the local market. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.  Strong focus on attention to detail.  Can analyze data and find revenue opportunities across the network and for individual properties.  Ability to build out sales planning documents and follow-up with departments/individuals on tactical elements of the sales plan to ensure success.  Expert understanding and explaining STAR data.  Three years revenue management experience required with either multiple full-service properties or a large single property. Knowledge of Synxis, IDEAS and Starwood/Marriott systems is strongly preferred.
